Signs from the Spirit World

Have you ever had a sign from a loved one that everything’s okay? 
Have you been in such a hole that you've been rescued by your loved ones? 
A vision of them, a visit in a dream or knowing that they are around us?

It's so hard when someone we loved so much here in life isn’t around and all you want to do is reach out and call them, text them and you aren't able to! 

In this blog I'm going to help you reach out to your loved ones. I'm going to give you the tools to be your own medium and tap into that magical energy.

Often when someone passes we automatically stop speaking with them because their physical presence isn't here any longer, and that's only natural. Most people think about them but how many speak out to them, do you?

Or perhaps we want to speak with them to celebrate our achievements. Whatever it is it can feel as though we are shouting even screaming into the void and why is that? Because we are looking for a response! Now it's important you do this when nobody is around, but the practice of speaking out to them just like we would do when they are living is so important, and actually really helps us feel better about the situation. Trust that your words are heard more than you know. They are always listening when we have that intention when we are speaking with them. 

Lots of people say to me “but you are a medium, Steven, you can speak to your family who have passed away”. This isn't the case for me, it's so hard when I want to speak to the people I love and although I feel them, I don't get direct contact with them, and when I do it's rare. 

This week I woke up on Wednesday morning with a song in my head - You’re My World by Cilla Black. This song was the song my Granny loved so much, and we played it in 2020 as she was passing into the spirit world. The song was playing over and over in my head with no explanation. I walk my dogs every morning before and during my vlog on The Soul Man official Facebook page. I always listen to inspiring music or an audio book before my vlog as I exercise the dogs, but nothing would drown out the song my Granny loved.

So I say out loud, “come on then what's the music all about?” And clear as a bell I hear her voice for the first time, “listen to the song, Steven!” So I played the song and for the first time, I heard the words.

Growing up, my Granny instilled in me so much confidence, she believed in me and knew I could do anything. Holding her hand, I would feel strength and knew I could do anything. I would often report back to her with great excitement on my many achievements as well as my mistakes. She would never judge.

The lyrics go like this and here I'll explain the hidden message in a place I've never thought to look:

You're my world, you're night and day. You're my world, you're every breath I take. Other eyes see the stars up in the skies. But for me, they shine within your eyes. 

My Granny always said even when I'm gone, I will live through your eyes. Don't look to the stars for me, look in your eyes, that's where I'll be. 

With your hand just resting in mine

I feel a power so divine

Holding her hand I always felt so strong. These powerful words resonated so much that my skin began to tingle and I could feel her right there.

My skin tingles and I smell the smell of old leather and I am surrounded by many of the invisible army. I hear my Granny's voice echo in the background, “Steven, there are so many people here who have your back. You were put here to share your words with the world.” All of this in a week where I have been doubting myself as my book moves to the next stages. Then, an intense light from the sun hits my eyes and I raise my hands to block out the sun, and in the sky in front of me is a dragonfly which if you don't know is our company logo! I walk along so grateful and thank my Granny for the message. 

Wow, such a poignant message from my Granny! I feel so blessed to have had this amazing confirmation from her. 

Now for me this is pretty normal considering the work I do, however for other people the signs will come as songs on the radio, the TV going on, white feathers appearing for no reason.

I like to see candles as walkie talkies, the flame creates a portal and amplifies the connection between us and the unseen world. 

So light a candle and sit safely of course and speak to them as you would when they were living and say these words.

…..(Insert name of your passed loved one)….. I love you so much and miss your presence dearly. As I light this candle I ask that you join me and hear my words, I give you permission to touch me and allow me to feel your presence. 

Now say whatever it is you want to say and close your eyes ensuring the candle is in a safe position and isn't going to catch fire to anything. 

Pay acute attention to everything you feel, see, and sense, even pay attention to your imagination which can often be overlooked. Keep practising this as often as you like and watch that connection grow. Pay attention to all the usual things that may happen, feathers, songs on the radio or visits in your dreams. The only thing that separates you from them is you have a physical body, you are a spirit in a body not a body with a spirit. 

Trust that connection, our loved ones in the spirit world are always trying to find ways of pulling our attention.

They are always just a thought away.
