Do you accept card payments?

Yes, we accept card payments and cash payments.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We now require either a 50% deposit or full payment for all our readings at time of booking. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your booking we will do a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours of your booking we do not offer a refund due to it being very difficult to fill the space. We also do not refund no shows. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I book for a particular reader?

Yes, however we cannot guarantee who your reader will be on the day as we all work different shifts and days.
We will try to honour any special requests for members of the team.

If you have booked specific readings with The Soul Man you are guaranteed that they will conduct your reading.

What is the age limit?

We do not do readings for anyone under the age of 16. If you are 16-18 years old, we will do a Tea Leaf or Tarot reading as long as there is an adult over 18 years with you.

Can I record the reading?

As our reading tables are set up in an open space, we ask that no recording devices are used during the readings. This is because you may pick up someone else’s reading during the recording.
If you are in a private room with a reader, it is very important that you get clear permission from the reader before you record.

Can I make a group booking?

For bookings of groups of 5 or more, we ask that you email us at - tamzin@thesoulmanscotland.com - and we can arrange this.

Can I just walk in for a reading?

We tend to book up for each day in advance by our online bookings, so we can not guarantee that there will be space for you in that day if you come into the shop without a booking. We recommend booking at www.thesoulmanscotland.com/book

Do you do house parties?

Unfortunately we do not offer house parties, we only offer readings from our shop.

When are you open?

For readings we are open during these times below:

Tuesday - Thursday 10:00am-3pm
Fridays 10:00am-8pm
Saturday 10:00am-5pm

Our Academy classes and courses take place in the evenings and at the weekends.

I don’t drink tea, can I still get a tea leaf reading?

Absolutely, we offer other drinks, and you can still have a reading. Your reader will guide you.

Will I be guaranteed to get spirit through in a reading?

This depends on the reading you book. Not all readings are open for spirit to come through. Please make sure you read the description of your booking before you book, as not all readings will include a spirit connection.

What happens in a reading?

Coming for a reading can be a bit of a mystery for those entering the shop for the first time. So just what exactly happens in a reading?
When you book a reading and come to the shop, you'll be greeted by our wonderful front of house team member, Tamzin, who will guide you to your table and take your order for tea or coffee. You'll be able to enjoy your drink whilst soaking in our chilled and calming atmosphere before your reader will join you at your table. Depending on what you've booked, your reader will offer insight, perspective and sometimes messages from spirit, giving you guidance and a chance for reflection. The readers are not there to tell you what to do with your life, or what decisions to make, they interpret your energy, the tea leaves, the tarot cards and what messages spirit gives them.
